Janet Setnor, MSN, CRNA, COL (RET), USAFR, NC

Colonel Janet L. Setnor retired from the United States Air Force Reserve following 26 years of honorable service as a Flight Nurse, a CRNA and a senior staff member for the Air Force Surgeon General. She served in Afghanistan as both the Anesthesia Team Lead in the largest in-country medical facility and as the sole anesthesia provider at a Special Forces Forward Operating Base. Coming from a military family, her father, husband, son, and son-in-law all have service-connected disabilities and have received care within the VA Healthcare System.

Colonel Setnor has been a practicing anesthesia provider for over 25 years and has held numerous state and national anesthesia leadership positions, including being twice elected as the President of the Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthetists and her current position as the Vice President of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.

 

 


Kevin Henson, DNP, CRNA

Kevin’s nursing career spans 30 years. From bedside nursing in the 1990s at R1 teaching hospitals to senior director of surgical & anesthesia services within Joint Commission hospitals & ASCs, Dr. Henson has achieved the highest national awards in safety, provider engagement & clinical excellence.  

Kevin is currently the president of Henson Anesthesia Partners International providing national CE lectures, anesthesia staffing across the United States, and periSurgical support to Zambia, Africa in association with World Medical Mission.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Richard P. Wilson, DNAP, CRNA, FAANA

Dr. Wilson is a 2006 graduate of the University of South Carolina where he earned a Masters in Nurse Anesthesia and 2022 graduate of MUSC where he received his DNAP. 

In 2009, Dr. Wilson was hired as the Assistant Program Director of the University of South Carolina and opened a second campus in Greenville, SC. 

He has served on and co-chaired several committees within SCANA and served as an item writer for the Self-Evaluation Exam. 

Dr. Wilson has participated as a contributor by reviewing content for two anesthesia reference books along with writing the chapter on Blood Component Therapy in the latest edition of Nurse Anesthesia. 

 He has presented at multiple state nurse anesthesia association meetings and the annual meeting for the Society of Opioid-Free Anesthesia.  He moderates a nurse anesthesia program faculty social media forum and is an expert contributor for the mentorship CRNA School Prep Academy.
