Building Blocks of Anesthesia Billing: From Beginner to Advanced in One Hour

This session will cover the basics of reimbursement for anesthesia services. It begins with learning how to calculate daily billing revenue generated by a CRNA with examples of two different types of cases. The session ends with AR analysis and benchmarking, a more complex look at billing, and a peek behind the scenes of what value CRNA care creates.

*TXA in Trauma: What's New Since CRASH-2

In this session you will hear a brief overview of the CRASH-2 trail.  Additionally, the pharmacology, indications and special considerations for TXA in the traumatically injured patient will be discussed. 

• Explore the history of use TXA in trauma
• Understand pharmacology and use of TXA outside the trauma setting
• Discuss and review fibrinolysis shutdown and its potential impact after TXA administration
